Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

Quoting from one of my favorite books (and movies), Anne of Green Gables, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." And I am going to imitate my friend Erin, (and hopefully flatter her as well) and copy her goal of reading 50 books in 2011 and in order to track that have posted a list on the side of this blog (which is nearly EXACTLY like her's so copy copy copy cat Katie).

I think I will mostly just put the titles up there. But if you want to read my thoughts and feelings about the books, you can check out the book review blog I started with my friends.

PS Yes I am embarrassed about book #2 for 2011 and almost didn't put it up, but because I am a little nervous about meeting the goal. I decided to count it. BUT just so you know, I found the book at the bedside of one of my patients while working an overnight shift and thought that it might help keep me awake. Which it did, but does not help the embarassment. However, I recognize that I probably do need help in that department, so it was probably a good decision overall. Just a little bit shameful.

BAH! How to flirt-awesome. I love that you read a book about how to flirt. It made me laugh inside. Not that you read it, but that there's a self-help book out there....to flirt. So. Good.

That's a lotta books, but I'll bet you can do it.

Not just how to flirt, but how to do it OUTRAGEOUSLY! I love that. Well, you have me beat, I've only read 2 books so far. So . . . there you go. I am excited about BOTH of our goals!

Bahaha. I miss you. I kind of want to read #2, but then I think Scott would get suspicious of me.

And one of these days I need to share stories with you, because I've been working in a home for mentally disabled people and have had some funny experiences that reminded me of when you were working in the psychiatric ward.

Ok. That's it. Love ya!

Ender's Game is so good. How come you didn't put in on the blog. I want to know how you liked it. Also, Katie, there is no shame in getting a few pointers. That being said, I have a similar book I'm going to send you. :)
