Library Etiquette

So I am currently sitting in the Law Library, and yes, right now I should be studying Pediatric Nursing for my final tomorrow at 8 am, but thought that I might blog a few sentences about something I realized tonight in the lib.
I entered the library at 8:12 pm. I found a table with only one kid sitting down at it and who looked like he wasn't going to make a lot of noise or answer his cell phone or whatevs. I took the usual diagonal chair seating arrangement.
At 11:17 pm, said kid (who by the way turned out to be an excellent "quiet library desk partner") started to pack up his stuff to leave. As he was about to leave I felt like I really should be saying goodbye to him. Granted, in the 3 hours or so that we spent together we never even exchanged one word (which is actually a little uncommon for me, there is usually the customary "will you watch my computer while I make a phone call" exchange or "what are you studying?" blah blah) but nonetheless, I had just spent 3 hours within a 3-foot proximity to this other human, and I felt that I should say at least "goodbye."
I didn't do it. And now I sort of feel bad. The end.
(Allie will this post appease you at least for a little while? ;) )
